Unlimited Halloween fun at Europa-Park
It’s not just for passionate ghost hunters and witch chasers, Halloween at Europa-Park is an unmissable event for all. 180,000 pumpkins in all shapes and colours, as well as 15,000 chrysanthemums, 6,000 corn plants and 3,000 straw bales will give the best theme park worldwide an autumnal look. In addition, thick cobwebs, spooky vampires and gruesome skeletons make for a spooky atmosphere.
Alongside the ghostly decorations, numerous other highlights promise truly terrifying moments at Europa-Park. Little visitors in particular can look forward to the ‘Spooky Kids Village’ in the redesigned French themed area, and can be styled and face-painted like ghosts. In Holland, the ‘Koffiekopjes’ are transformed into ‘Griezelkopjes’ with fog, lightning and spooky music. The ghosts don’t stop at the Greek themed area: ‘Crypta’ gives a chilling daytime peek into ‘Horror Nights - Traumatica’ for visitors aged 12 and up. In the haunted house, live performers spread fear and terror, making sure to create real goose bumps. England was also not spared, with scarecrows hunting down the water course ‘Jack’, sending chills down the spines of even the bravest visitors. The ice show ‘Celtic Shadows’ in the Greek themed area is just right for Halloween-loving families. Additionally, there is the new show ‘The Ghost Fair’ on the Italian open-air stage and in Grimm's fairy tale forest children and adults alike are enticed to search for the pumpkin gnome. During the daily ‘Halloween Parade’ at 5.30pm, sinister figures fill the streets and squares of Europa-Park. Those who do not pay attention are frightened by every ghostly trick in the book. At the show’s end on the Luxemburger Platz, the song ‘Tonite it's Halloween’, produced by MackMusic, brings visitors along with them to conjure up dark powers and ghosts from the underworld.
