Europa-Park has been awarded Best Theme Park Worldwide again

On 10th September 2022, Europa-Park was awarded the coveted industry Oscar ‘Golden Ticket Award’ as the ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ for the eighth time in a row. Germany’s largest theme park was able to once again defend its title against industry heavy weights such as Walt Disney World, Merlin Entertainments and Universal Studios. The prize, which is awarded by the international trade publication ‘Amusement Today’, was handed over in the Zaragoza Theatre of the American theme park ‘Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ in San Antonio, Texas.

Despite the competition, especially from the USA, the expert jury saw the family company from Baden at the top. Especially the number of high-quality attractions which are at the top of their game thanks to the great operation and maintenance works by the teams, providing a fantastic experience for the park visitors, were highlighted by the jury. In addition, the combination of traditional rides and digital content, as well as first-class entertainment, gastronomy and overnight accommodation convinced the experts.
