At the Rulantica water world, visitors can escape the dull wintry weather and dive into unforgettable water fun. There’s lots of fun to be found in the lovingly themed areas, with numerous slides, a huge wave pool and an exciting water playground. On cold winter days, Europe's largest speed slide ‘Vikingløp’ invites you on an exciting race down the slide. Right next door, the new day suites in the ‘Nordiskturn’ area offer pure relaxation with an extra portion of luxury. Round off your Europa-Park Resort visit in the perfect way with an overnight stay in one of the park's six 4* themed hotels, a breathtaking VR adventure in YULLBE, or a culinary journey for all your senses in the futuristic restaurant world-first Eatrenalin.
Winter fun in the water for the whole family
Whether in free fall, in a slide duel with friends or in a tyre on the halfpipe, Rulantica guarantees action, adrenaline and adventure, even in winter. There is also plenty of fun to be had at the interactive water carousel ‘Tønnevirvel’ or in the raging torrent ‘Vildstrøm’. Afterwards guests can take in the cool winter air in the heated outdoor pool 'Frigg Tempel' and enjoy a cocktail in the covered swim-up bar 'Tempel Krog'. In the new 'Nordiskturn' area, fun is guaranteed as visitors engage in some competitive sliding: the highlight of the 30-metre-high tower is the 'Vikingløp' racing slide, built on a sparkling gemstone mine. After climbing the ‘Nordiskturn', a total of eight tube slides are available for competitive visitors to slide down while lying on matts in a race against each other. As they head down on mats from a starting height of 24 metres, every second counts on Europe's biggest speed slide, as only one will be first over the finish line and be cheered on by the spectators in the stands. Guests who want to experience some winter comfort can let themselves be carried on tubes along a 250-metre-long lazy river past rugged rocks, mighty pine trees and an imposing shipwreck in ‘Snorri's Saga’. And even the youngest visitors can discover the mysticism of Scandinavia in the idyllic ‘Trølldal’. At the ‘Snorri Snorkling VR’ attraction, visitors aged 10 and over can accompany the lively Sixtopus Snorri on a virtual underwater experience and explore the depths of the sea.
Luxury and relaxation in the water world
For those seeking a chance to unwind, a visit to the exclusive relaxation and sauna area 'Hyggedal' is ideal. The oasis of wellness with a Nordic ambience offers an impressive view of the entire water world. Comfortable loungers and three nude wooden saunas, with wonderfully relaxing infusions as well as a steam bath, await guests aged 18 and over across a total area of 1,000 m². The 'KOTA Sauna Chalet' offers a slightly different sauna experience: Here guests can enjoy the proper sauna experience surrounded by rustic tables and seating, as well as a sauna oven, while enjoying a delicious wheat beer. This year, Rulantica also gained a very special place for those looking for a spot of peace and quiet: In the ‘Nordiskturn’ area are six luxuriously furnished day suites that can be exclusively booked out. The Rulantica Svits ‘Nørd’, ‘Øst’, ‘Sør’ and ‘Vest’ offer a wide range of amenities such as a private sauna, a cosy lounge area and a private loggia. While the Rulantica VIP Svits ‘Sørvind’ and ‘Vestavind’ promise even more exclusivity. Each of these two-storey day suites also features high-quality furnishings, panoramic windows as well as a private balcony. Anyone who treats themselves to a stay in one of the cosy Komfort Hydda's can also look forward to even more relaxation this year: In the new Hydda Loft, guests of the Komfort Hyddas can expect an exclusive sauna alongside comfortable options for lounging.
Fresh snacks and tasty cocktails
Expeditions to Rulantica are bound to work up an appetite: During the colder months in the water world, there are 11 food establishments for a spot of refreshment. In the glazed winter garden ‘Snekkjas Vinterhage’, for example, visitors can enjoy delicious food with a view of the outdoor area of the water world. Afterwards the guests can take in the cool winter air in the heated outdoor pool 'Frigg Tempel' and enjoy a cocktail in the covered swim-up bar 'Tempel Krog'. Next to the Surf Fjørd, visitors can enjoy pizza, pasta and salads at ‘Lumålunda’. A particularly special highlight is ‘panoraama – the Rulantica Bar’. Even guests who do not have a ticket for the water world can enjoy delicious bowls and drinks at this bar while they enjoy the fantastic view over Rulantica.
Winter Action and Surprises
The Rulantica Vibes continue throughout the winter months and are ideal for all those who want to enjoy DJ sounds and cool drinks in addition to the sliding action. On selected dates at the ‘Tempel Krog’ swim-up bar, visitors can end the day with relaxation from 7pm. From 25th November to 03rd December, the water world will also be celebrating its 4th birthday.
