From spring 2023, it's "On the mat, get set, splash!" on the 8-tube Vikingløp racing slide in the new slide tower. The outdoor world of slides ‘Svalgurok’, which was opened during the summer 2021, offers plenty of exciting adventures for all ages, boasting ten slides and over 100 opportunities to play.

Cool down on hot summer days
The Rulantica water world rises up high, casting a spell over visitors from afar. Adventurers of all ages can discover a total of 14 themed settings both indoors and outdoors. In addition to 'Svalgurok', one of the largest outdoor slide areas in Europe, the extensive outdoor area has also been home to Snorri Strand since last year. Since the summer of 2022, it offers two further attractions: With three slides, there is plenty of water fun to be had for little adventurers at Snorri's Rutscheplads. Snorri has also discovered plenty of flotsam on the 'Skip Strand’; perfect for building the interactive and well designed play area 'Snorri's Spelaborg'.
While the children romp around, adults can enjoy the sun on one of the more than 1,000 sunbeds around "Svalgurok" and "Snorri Strand". Summer comfort is provided by eight beach sofas that can be booked as well as cosy beach islands and stylish beach eggs. Visitors can experience luxurious relaxation on the Rulantica VIP yachts "Rangnak", "Svensson" and "Stenrokk". Depending on the yacht booked, a private outdoor area with its own sundeck, a refreshing outdoor shower, personal catering service and much more awaits you.
A special highlight for all fans of summer beach holidays is also the Nordic sandy beach "Dynstrønd". From May to September, there are 1,400 m² of sunbathing area, including cosy beach chairs, for a true holiday feeling. There is a sand playground for children and a beach volleyball court for sports enthusiasts to keep the action going on holiday. On selected days, a great programme on the open-air stage next door also creates a summer beach feeling: Cool beats by a DJ or shows by Europa-Park artists provide the best entertainment in and around the water.
Next door, things have been getting really exciting since summer 2022: In the Tønnevirvel, a special carousel attraction for water parks from Mack Rides, guests can dive into a mystical theming in gondolas decorated with runes and have a refreshing spectacle with oversized water spray guns. They can also provide other visitors with an impromptu cool-down in the process.
Water fun makes you hungry! From May to September, visitors can fortify themselves in the outdoor area at Snorri's Piknikbud on Snorri Strand with great snacks such as delicious sandwiches, fruit pots and cakes. At the food court Strand Kök they can enjoy various delicacies with a view of the oudoor slide world Svalgurok. Salads, various coffee specialities, delicious waffles and Swirl ice cream are on offer. Inside Rulantica, Lumalunda, Snekkjas and Co. offer delicious food options to suit all tastes. Two swim-up bars indoors and outdoors round off the culinary offerings of the water world.
Immerse yourself in unique water fun
The indoor area also offers a variety of attractions for all ages. In Dugdrob and Vildfål you free fall through Rangnakor, the city on stilts. The adrenaline kick is guaranteed. Even the youngest can let off steam in the indoor area of the water world: In the idyllic Trølldal they can play in the water among trolls in a safe environment and gain their first sliding experiences. At the worldwide unique diving theatre 'Snorri Snorkling VR' by MackNeXT and VR Coaster, fans of the cute Rulantica character can dive into a fantastic underwater world with diving goggles and snorkel.
Since December 2022, the now 14th themed area Nordiskturn offers plenty of space to rest and relax. Even before the opening of the 8-tube mat slide Vikingløp in spring 2023, guests can unwind in the spacious, lovingly themed sunbathing areas on the ground floor and on the first and second floor. Whether together with the family in the Lågerhus or secluded and cosy in the Stillhet Loft - everyone will find their own personal feel-good spot here. Those who don't want to miss out on an extra portion of cosiness can enjoy every comfort on the Lågerhus sofas and Stillhet sofas, which can be booked separately. The Viking Snåck as well as the Viking Kaffi cater for your culinary needs.
Pure Relaxation
Adults can then make themselves comfortable in the exclusive Hyggedal relaxation and sauna area. This oasis of well-being with its Nordic ambience is located above the Lumålunda restaurant and offers a fantastic view of the entire water world. On more than 1,000 m², there are cosy lounging areas and three textile-free wooden saunas from the age of 18 with a large outdoor terrace. New since last winter is the KOTA Sauna Chalet. There, guests can enjoy a traditional sauna surrounded by rustic tables and seating as well as a sauna stove, while enjoying a delicious wheat beer - with or without alcohol. Afterwards, they can enjoy delicious Hygge Bowls with smoked salmon, tofu or roast beef in a Nordic ambience at the Hygge Sauna Bar or the bar panoraama - the Rulantica Bar. Both Snorri Snorkling VR and Hyggedal are additional offers that can be booked online with the Rulantica ticket.
Hyggedal also has, as a special highlight, the Hygge Supreme Hydda - an exclusive top suite for up to four people with a unique view of the water world, a private sauna and personal gastronomic service. There are also numerous exclusive retreats in the hall itself, such as the comfort hyddas, eight differently themed cabins in Rangnakor, or the comfort sofas, comfortable day beds in cosy alcoves.
