Roland Mack is member of the jury at 35th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival

The 35th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival is taking place until 30 January 2011. More than 150 of the world's best artists are in the focus of the festival's international jury. Roland Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park who will be chairman of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) by the end of year 2011, has the great honour to be invited by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco and Prince Albert II to be a member of this year’s jury.

Each year, the International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo rewards the best international artists. On Tuesday, 25 January 2011, the most coveted prizes of the branch and dream of every artist – the golden, silver and bronze clowns - were awarded in the framework of the festive circus-gala. In this context, Roland Mack also handed over the “Prix Europa-Park” to the “Troupe Strangers” from Russia. The winners of this prize can look forward to the next winter season of Germany’s biggest theme park as they will take part in the circus revue.

The Mack family has been connected to the wonderful world of circus since the very beginning, as their company manufactured transport wagons and carrousels for showmen. That’s why the family always had close and good relationships to numerous artists like the Farellos, the Duo Iroschnikov, Golden Power or the famous clown Oleg Popov – all former winners at the international circus festival - who all already performed on Europa-Park's stages.

The 35th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival is a good occasion for Europa-Park to discover new talents. From the first day and since 35 years, Europa-Park offers a colourful show-mosaic to its visitors on the numerous stages of the worldwide biggest seasonal theme park. More than 150 international artists coming from 25 different countries present a daily show programme which meanwhile lasts over 6 hours.
