50 years of success

Europa-Park's Director of Entertainment celebrates birthday

Competing in the Winter Olympic Games 1984 in Sarajevo, the production of an Ice Show for the Queen in 1992 or the longtime engagement at the world-famous “Lido de Paris” on the Champs Elysées are just a few of the highlights of Ian Jenkins’ career. The two-times World Professional Champion in Pair Skating and now Director of Entertainment at Europa-Park, Germany’s biggest theme park, can proudly look back at his career.

After engagements in the USA and France as choreographer and coach to many National and World Champions, Ian Jenkins came to Europa-Park in 2009 when he took over as Director of Entertainment. He choreographs and produces the diverse and elaborate shows which Europa-Park is famous for.

In his daily work developing new projects, the coordination of all shows and the 230 artists from 28 countries and the scouting and encouragement of new talents, Ian Jenkins is supported by his wife Sandra Escoda, five times Spanish Skating Champion. His passion and commitment is transferred easily to the entire team around Jenkins and goes hand in hand with Europa-Park’s understanding of high-quality entertainment.

All of Europa-Park’s staff congratulates Ian Jenkins to his 50th birthday and is looking forward to a fabulous future together.
