Escape the cold autumn and winter days and warm up in the turquoise blue water. No need for a trip to the South Seas, just a detour to Rust in southern Baden, as the Rulantica water world offers water fun for the whole family in every season with its 32,600m² indoor area. With rapid slides, raging torrents and the large wave pool, the grey everyday grind is quickly forgotten. The indoor and outdoor pools, with two swim-up bars and the exclusive relaxation and sauna area ‘Hyggedal’ offer plenty of relaxation. An overnight stay in one of the Resort’s six 4* themed hotels is the ideal way to end a visit to Rulantica and Europa-Park.
Rulantica is inspiring in every season
An expedition to the north
Rugged rocks, crystal clear water and mighty pines are what create the unique atmosphere in Rulantica, taking visitors to the wild landscapes of Scandinavia. On a tour through the lovingly themed areas of the water world, guests pass a mystical ice palace, a mighty shipwreck and a stalactite cave populated by colourful sea people. Lying relaxed in tubes, visitors can let themselves be carried through a variety of scenery on a 250-metre-long lazy river in ‘Snorri's Saga’. A big range of slides also offers splashy fun for all ages. Whether in free fall, a sliding duel with friends or sat in a tube going up the halfpipe - in Rulantica, things heat up in winter. The little ones are also well catered for, as they can play among the trolls in a safe water environment, as well as have their first slide experiences, at the idyllic ‘Trølldal’
The new indoor attraction ‘Snorri Snorkling VR’ has been the hot topic this year: VR goggles on, snorkel raised and down you go. The ‘Diving Theater’, which is unique worldwide, allows curious visitors from the age of 10 to accompany the lively Sixtopus on a virtual underwater experience and explore the depths of the sea surrounding Rulantica. For all those who long for a spot of relaxation in addition to some adventure, there is the exclusive relaxation and sauna area ‘Hyggedal’. The oasis of wellbeing in a Nordic ambience is located above the ‘Lumålunda’ restaurant and offers a wonderful view of the entire water world. Cosy loungers and two nude wooden saunas await all visitors aged 18 and over with a large 1,000m² outdoor terrace. Both ‘Snorri Snorkling VR’ and ‘Hyggedal’ are additional offers that can be added to the ticket online or, if available, on-site.
Until 7th January 2022, the outdoor area of Rulantica lures visitors in with great DJ music every Thursday and Friday. In the covered swim-up bar ‘Tempel Krog’, guests can relax and let the evening fade away with delicious cocktails from 7pm. The Rulantica Vibes are ideal for all those who want to enjoy relaxing sounds and refreshing drinks in addition to the sliding action. The event is included in the Rulantica ticket.
As soon as the first warm rays of sunshine signal the summer in May 2022, the Nordic outdoor world of slides ‘Svalgurok’ opens once again to visitors and guarantees pure watery fun, with ten slides and over 100 playing opportunities. Of course, the outdoor area ‘Snorri Beach’ welcomes the youngest guests once again for a refreshing dip in the open air.
