Summer holidays in the Europa-Park Resort

Travel and wanderlust are as much a part of summer as ice cream and sunglasses. Whether you’re dreaming of a cool breeze on the Nordic fjords or simply some relaxation among the palm trees and turquoise water, at the Europa-Park Resort it’s always the perfect time for a holiday. The 17 European themed areas invite you to take a breathtaking journey across the continent. With over 100 attractions and shows, traditional local architecture and authentic cuisine, Germany's largest theme park is the ideal holiday destination for the whole family. Located nearby is the unique water world, Rulantica, which offers fantastic indoor and outdoor water fun in every season. Together with the Camp Resort and Camping, the park's six 4* hotels are ideal for rounding off a short holiday at the Europa-Park Resort.

Visitors can discover the new Croatia theme area in summer 2024: An absolute highlight of which is the newly opened multi launch coaster ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’. The rollercoaster winds its way through an authentic Croatian landscape with numerous new ride elements, including going upside down seven times. Light limestone, ruins, wall sections and a variety of plants, including an 800-year-old olive tree, all come together to create a Mediterranean flair. Running through the attraction and themed area as a common thread is the story of scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla, who was born in what is now Croatia, and who was able to realise his dream of wireless long-distance transmission of electrical energy. The new exhibition ‘Croatian Inspiration’ offers numerous interactive exhibits for visitors. In the ice cream parlour ‘Sunce i Lavanda’, there’s plenty of refreshment with 20 varieties of ice cream as well as unusual creation.

With the 'Alpenexpress Enzian' and the Tirol Log Flume', two traditional classics return to the Austrian themed area in a brand new splendour. The charming family rollercoaster and the refreshing log flume ride wind through the impressive 'Magic Valley of Diamonds’, bringing fun for all ages. The 'Yomi Adventure Trail' is completely new. An adventurous high-altitude trail with suspension bridges, plenty of climbing elements and two slides that take guests up the rocks that reach up to twelve metres in height to the shop 'Gemstone Grotto'.

In the French themed area, guests at ‘Eurosat Coastiality’ experience a new virtual reality adventure: ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. The story of love, intrigue and a mysterious, masked figure that unfolds with every curve of the immersive VR rollercoaster ride. The ‘Ghost Castle’ also invites you to get spooked on a refreshed ride that has lost none of its classic charm. Iconic hand showers and oversized fittings await little water lovers in the ‘Lítill Island – Hansgrohe Children's Water World’ water playground.

The two water rollercoasters ‘Poseidon’ and ‘Atlantica SuperSplash’ also guarantee pure refreshment as well as a backdrop worthy of  a postcard. Top-class artists from all over the world, with shows just as diverse as Europa-Park itself, providing fantastic entertainment with dance and acrobatics, magical illusions, on the ice or on horseback. In summer, for example, the high diving show ‘Retorno dos Piratas’ features international athletes performing daring jumps from a height of up to 25 metres. The Portuguese themed area offers the ideal holiday flair for the unique performance with plenty of Mediterranean charm.
